NME.COM SCOOPS DIGITAL ACCOLADE

NME.COM last night scooped the top digital prize as it was announced Best Digital Publication at the Record of the Day Awards for Music Journalism and PR.
The awards – which took place at The Conway Hall, in Holborn – celebrate Music Journalism and Public Relations within the UK music business and were hosted by BBC Radio 2 DJ Janice Long.
David Moynihan, editor of NME.COM, says: “The award recognises the fantastic work of the NME editorial team and Ignite digital, and the fact that NME.COM's content and traffic have grown significantly in the past twelve months.
“It is made all the sweeter by the fact that it is voted for by our industry peers - the journalists, PRs and record labels that we work with every day.”
This marks the third win in as many months for the international 24/7 music website. In October NME.COM celebrated a double whammy as it scooped both Consumer Editorial Team of the Year at the AOP Awards and the Best Music Magazine prize at the BT Digital Music Awards.
